European Alliance Against Depression

The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD, www.eaad.net) is a scientific non-profit organisation that speaks up for patients affected by depression. We conduct research, raise awareness and develop effective, evidence-based initiatives that improve access to care and treatment for depression. Our goals are:

1) Support people with depression and their families and

2) Prevent suicidal behaviour

Established in 2004, EAAD currently has more than 30 members in Europe, Australia, Canada, Africa and Chile and is involved in several EU-funded research and implementation projects.
